Dr. Ivan Mayor

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Mayor graduated from University of Mexicali, Mexico and have been in the Veterinary field for over 20 years. When arriving to the United States, Dr. Mayor had a rare opportunity to intern at the iconic San Diego Zoo. He has also practiced Veterinary Medicine all over San Diego County which helped him expand his knowledge, sharpen his skills, and made him an expert in General practice for small animals which allowed him to open our beautiful All Day Pet Hospital. Aside from his specialty in General practice, he has had experience in emergency care and worked with our community by working in spay and neuter clinics.

Throughout his two decades of work experience, he has found professional experience in dermatology, dentistry, emergency medicine, and general surgeries. He also loves interacting with clients and giving your loving pets the best possible care and he takes a lot of pride in what he does. All clients are treated like family and every pet will receive the best care and treatment available. Regardless of financial issues, Dr. Mayor will find a way to work with you in the best interest of your pet with his years of experience.

Aside from his love for Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mayor loves to spend time with his wife and two kids. Family is very important to him and that is why he wants his clients to feel comfortable leaving their pets with us and knowing we will treat them like family. He also owns his precious schnauzer, Grenas (Hairy face), and maltipoo, Peluche (Stuffed animal), so he understands how much impact your pets mean to you. On his days off, he takes advantage of our beautiful San Diego weather and hiking, biking, and camping on our beautiful trails.
